A downloadable game for Windows

Skate Of Fate is a rage game based on riding around your skateboard around created by the youtuber, Splated to get used to the game engine called Unity. This game is not a very good game and will probably break but I just wanted to upload a game for fun, so enjoy!

And please leave some feedback because I want this game to be at least a viable product.

i found some bugs while playing and im just gonna list them here

  • when you go on a gamemode with checkpoints, you dont spawn at the tutorial
  • while airborne, i randomly get flung into the ground
  • air acceleration is way too high
  • the void does not kill you

Easy mode spawns for the first time in the wrong checkpoint, so I never learned the controls.

on my attempted playthrough i encountered a number of game-breaking issues:

  • while airborne, i would occasionally be suddenly catapulted into the floor, killing me instantly
  • sometimes the jump pads would launch me down instead of up, killing me instantly
  • when riding on speed boosters and stoppers, my wheels would bounce erratically, making gaining speed almost impossible without getting flipped upside down (killing me almost instantly)

notably, all of these introduce some level of randomness into play. since you said in your video that you aimed to reduce randomness, i am assuming none of these are intentional and might only happen on my computer.

from what little i have seen of the game, it looks pretty fun! my only other complaint is that the rotation buttens should be switched (or have an option to be switched). the mechanics are thoroughly fun.

Yeah sorry about all the physics bugs you encountered the physics in the game engine I use are not very reliable and break often. and also I did realize when making the game that some parts of the game are random, that's my fault but thanks for the feedback though.

*Side note* I'm actually surprised you didn't encounter more bugs considering how crappy this game is. thanks for playing the game.

Saw the video and I had to give it a shot. Pretty fun concept but the controls when rotating in mid air are kinda janky.

first to comment i guess? btw nice vids bro :

Thanks man
